About Them: Situated in a fantastic location, their practice enjoys a diverse range of cases and boasts a loyal client base. You’ll become a valued member of their friendly team, which includes 4.5 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVN’s, 1 VCA, and 5 receptionists. With approximately 60% insured clients, their well-equipped and bustling practice adheres to industry-leading standards.
About You: As a crucial contributor to the daily operations, you will ensure high-quality care for their patients and clients. Nurses are the heartbeat of their practice, playing an integral clinical role in patient care. They seek an individual comfortable with leading by example, possessing excellent communication and organizational skills, and taking pride in maintaining high standards. If you are eager to understand the business aspect of the practice, motivate teams to achieve goals, and have experience in a Head Nurse role, we want to hear from you. Your success will hinge on your ability to embrace all facets of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering exceptional care and leading the team effectively.
About the Role: This full-time position includes only 1 in 4 weekends, working on Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm, with no out-of-hours duty. Responsibilities encompass various procedures, including Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 Schedule 3 procedures, X-rays, anesthesia, surgeries, post-operative care, nursing of in-patients, triaging patients, dispensing drugs, and maintaining accurate records. You will also manage HR policies, collaborate with senior staff, and actively contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.
