About the Role:

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will:

• Perform surgical procedures on a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals.
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions in animals.
• Conduct laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up appointments.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and prognosis.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.

• Opportunity to work in an independent practice with sole charge responsibilities.
• Excellent travel links.
• One week off a month by rota.

Requirements:

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised institution.
• Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• Proven experience working as a Veterinary Surgeon, with proficiency in surgical procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
