Salary: From £75,000 per annum (FTE) depending on experience

On Call: 1:3 weekends

Are you an experienced ophthalmologist seeking a new challenge? I have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Ophthalmology to join a progressive and supportive referral team.

About the Role:

In this key position, you will lead our ophthalmology team, performing a wide range of surgeries including cataract procedures, and providing expert consultations. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced ophthalmic technology, supported by a dedicated and skilled team.

About You:

• Qualifications: A certificate in ophthalmology is essential; advanced practitioner status is preferred.
• Skills: Strong team leadership, a commitment to mentorship, and a passion for high-quality patient care.
• Experience: Proven experience in ophthalmic surgery and a dedication to clinical excellence.
