I’m working directly with a small, independent veterinary practice in the heart of rural Mid-Devon, known for its personal touch and commitment to high-quality care.
This practice operates across two sites where they’re actively seeking to expand their team.
About the Role:
Are you a passionate and experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for an exciting new opportunity?
This practice offers the perfect balance of traditional values and modern facilities. With state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment, you’ll have all the tools you need to provide top-tier care. Additionally, the practice has access to visiting specialists and surgeons, ensuring comprehensive care for all cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough 15-minute consultations, providing accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Offer preventive health care advice to pet owners.
Perform routine and emergency surgeries, ensuring the highest standard of care.
Maintain meticulous patient records.
Communicate effectively with clients, building trust and long-lasting relationships.
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing CPD.
Who We’re Looking For:
A qualified member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons with the right to practice in the UK.
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon.
Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members.
Self-motivated and dedicated to providing the best patient care.
Compassionate, empathetic, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Proactive in seeking ways to enhance the range of services offered to clients.
