Are you an experienced Theatre RVN with a passion for orthopaedic surgery? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Theatre Veterinary Nurse at a large 24-hour hospital. If you excel in surgical nursing and thrive in an emergency and critical care (ECC) environment, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing support during orthopaedic surgeries and other advanced procedures
• Support junior colleagues in the theatre, fostering their skills and development
• Ensure the maintenance of surgical equipment and theatre standards
• Deliver high-quality care while working alongside a dedicated surgical team
• Manage theatre operations, working closely with experienced surgeons and the medical team

What We Offer:

• Salary: £33,000 to £37,000 per year (based on experience)
• Annual Leave: 6.6 weeks including bank holidays
• CPD Support: Annual CPD budget + up to 2 days’ paid CPD leave
• Other Benefits: Paid lunch breaks, private medical healthcare scheme (at a reduced rate), medical cashback incentives
• Rota: Full-time, 40 hours per week with an average of 1:4 weekends and up to 3 bank holidays per year

About You:

• RCVS registered Senior RVN with a focus on surgical nursing
• Experience in orthopaedic surgery is preferred (certificate in surgical nursing is a plus)
• Ability to provide exceptional support in a busy theatre environment
• Motivated to mentor junior team members and ensure theatre standards are maintained
