We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, independent small animal practice in North Manchester that is looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon into their friendly, close-knit team.
This is a full-time position with an excellent work–life balance, offering a unique working pattern of three long weekdays plus limited weekend commitment. The practice has been proudly family-run for over 45 years and is well known locally for delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
You’ll be working in a well-equipped practice with a modern operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory. The team is also supported by visiting specialists, allowing a varied and interesting caseload while maintaining a high clinical standard.
Salary and benefits
Starting salary from £75,000 per annum
Full-time role working Wednesday to Friday, 8am–6.30pm
One in three Saturday mornings, 8.30am–1pm

Candidate requirements
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
At least five years’ post-qualification experience
Approachable, proactive and passionate about animal welfare
Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
