A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for surgical and theatre work to join a busy, progressive 24‑hour hospital. This is an ideal role for an RVN who enjoys variety, thrives in a supportive team, and wants exposure to a wide range of clinical cases.
The hospital is growing rapidly, with expanding nurse‑led services, inpatient care, ECC exposure, advanced imaging, and surgical support all under one roof. Nurses are genuinely valued here for their clinical skills, experience, and contribution to patient care.
About the Role
This position is perfect for an RVN who enjoys:
- A mix of consults, theatre, inpatient care, and ward nursing

What You’ll Be Doing
- Nurse consults including boosters, weight clinics, post‑op checks, and client education
- Inpatient and ward nursing with hands‑on patient monitoring
- Theatre support across routine and advanced procedures
- Supporting emergency and critical care cases
- Contributing to nurse‑led clinics and service development
- Supporting students and newly qualified colleagues

- RCVS‑registered Veterinary Nurse
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient‑focused
- Confident working across multiple nursing areas
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Keen to develop within a hospital environment
