About My Client:
At the practice, they specialise in primary care for small animals and offer a range of cutting-edge procedures including keyhole and endoscopic surgeries. From routine laparoscopic spays to more complex procedures like laparoscopic liver biopsies and cholecystectomy, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional care to their patients. In addition to minimally invasive surgery, they handle routine orthopaedic surgeries, eye surgeries, and emergency cases with expertise and compassion.
The role:
As a Senior RVN, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in anaesthesia protocols. From implementing new techniques to utilising advanced equipment such as ventilators and multi-parameter machines, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact. While expertise in these areas is valued, they believe that attitude and a hunger for growth are equally important qualities.
This is a full-time position, typically consisting of 42 hours per week spread across 4 days, with Saturday morning consults every 1 in 4 weeks. However, they understand the importance of work-life balance and are open to discussing flexible hours to suit your needs. Plus, there are no out-of-hours duties, allowing you to enjoy your downtime to the fullest.
In return for your dedication, they offer a competitive starting salary ranging from £32,000 to £36,000 per year, with generous opportunities for continuing professional development (CPD) and the chance to pursue your interests in specific areas such as consultations, behaviour, and anaesthetics. If you hold a postgraduate certificate or have over 5 years of experience, you’ll start at a higher salary of £34,000.
