We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, independent group of practices in Tyne and Wear on an ongoing locum basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a genuinely supportive team that values its locums and offers a varied caseload across small animal, equine, and farm work. The role is ideal for a confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys clinical variety and is comfortable working sole charge when required.
You will be working across a network of practices, providing support where needed and becoming part of a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent patient care.
Key features of the role:
- Ongoing locum opportunity
- 4 to 5 days per week
- Approximately 80% small animal caseload
- Approximately 15% equine caseload
- Approximately 5% farm animal caseload
- Variety of work across multiple practice sites
- Sole charge duties where required
- Supported by an experienced nursing team
- 10-minute consultations
