A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic, friendly and fast‑growing small animal practice in South East London. This is a full‑time role within a supportive team that prides itself on high clinical standards, excellent client care and ongoing professional development.
The Practice This is a spacious, air‑conditioned, purpose‑built surgery with excellent transport links and free on‑site parking. The practice is equipped with:
- Digital and dental X‑ray
- High‑level ultrasound with multiple probes
- Full dental equipment for cats, dogs and rabbits
- In‑house laboratory
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Tonometry
- Cautery and suction
The practice has expanded rapidly and continues to invest in its team and facilities. Several vets have completed certificates in ophthalmology and small animal medicine while working here, and regular in‑house training sessions support ongoing development. The practice has previously been nominated for Practice of the Year and Vet of the Year in the Petplan Veterinary Awards.
The Team You will be joining:
- 4 Vets
- 3 RVNs
- 1 SVN
- 2 VCAs
- 5 Client Care Advisors
- Practice Manager
The team works collaboratively, values individual strengths and encourages personal interests and progression.
The Role This is a full‑time position working 40 hours per week, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays. There is no out‑of‑hours responsibility, ensuring an excellent work‑life balance.
You will need:
- Minimum 18 months’ experience
- Confidence in routine surgery
- Strong communication skills
- A positive, proactive approach
- Passion for delivering high‑quality clinical care

Salary & Benefits
