Job Title: Night Veterinary Surgeon (Part-Time)

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 / year

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

Shift Pattern: 12 hours from 20:30 to 08:30, 7 on 7 off, 7 on 14 off or 7 on 21 off – Option to locum during your nights off.

About the Role:

My client has an amazing opportunity to join their exceptional team of dedicated veterinary professionals as a Night Veterinary Surgeon at their animal hospital in Lincolnshire. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering top-notch veterinary care for a variety of small animals, handling both routine healthcare and numerous emergencies. The position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment.

Their night team is equipped with qualified Veterinary Nurses for every shift, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.

They are able to offer accommodation, so even if you don’t live in the area but are looking for a rewarding night role, then you are able to stay during the week of your shifts and then able to return back home during your nights off.

There is also the option to locum for the practice during your nights off, which is a great way to top up your earnings!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct surgical and medical procedures with confidence.
• Form strong bonds with clients to ensure improved animal health and welfare.
• Handle a high caseload of emergency and critical care cases, both surgical and medical.

Requirements:

• Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
• Demonstrable experience in small animal or mixed practice.
• Sole charge experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to align with and apply their values.
