The Practice This purpose‑built small animal clinic is located in a welcoming Hertfordshire community and offers a calm, modern environment for both clients and colleagues. You’ll be joining a warm, collaborative team made up of:

• 2 Vets
• Head Nurse
• Small non‑clinical support team

The practice is well equipped with:

• Separate cat and dog wards
• Isolation unit and sterile theatre
• Digital x‑ray and ultrasound
• In‑house laboratory and microscope
• Capnography with pulse oximetry

The team works closely with visiting specialists in cardiology, diagnostic imaging and orthopaedics, offering excellent exposure and learning opportunities. Non‑routine consults are 30 minutes, allowing time for thorough care and client communication.

The Role As an RVN, you’ll be involved across all areas of clinical work, including:

• Anaesthesia and theatre
• Inpatient care
• Nurse consultations
• Laboratory work
• Client education and support

You’ll be encouraged to shape your role around your strengths and interests, with full support for development and CPD.

About You You’ll be a qualified, registered Veterinary Nurse who:

• Enjoys working collaboratively
• Takes pride in delivering compassionate, high‑quality patient care
• Is confident across general nursing duties, including anaesthesia
• Enjoys running nurse clinics and supporting clients
• Is organised, proactive and a positive team player
• Wants to continue developing through CPD and further qualifications

Work–Life Balance The practice values flexibility and is happy to consider full‑time or part‑time applications.

• No out of hours
• No Sundays
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (09:00–13:00) with TOIL or additional pay
• Weekday shifts:
  • 08:45–17:15
  • 10:45–19:15
• 30‑minute lunch break
