Job Title: Veterinarian (Vet Surgeon)
Contract Length: Permanent, with full-time and part-time options available
Location: London
Hours per Week: 35 hours, either 9-5 pm or 8-4 pm, with a monthly rotation between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday
Salary (Full-Time Equivalent): Up to £55k (10+ years PQE), up to £48k (5-10 years PQE), up to £43k (<5 years PQE)

Second Interview Date: Successful candidates from the first interview will be invited to an in-person interview.

My client, a renowned organization with almost a century of commitment to dogs, cats, and communities, is seeking a qualified Vet Surgeon to join their team in London. They provide expert veterinary care, rescue and rehoming services, community programs, and guidance to improve the lives of animals in need.
Their community vet clinic, has been a cornerstone of their commitment to affordable and accessible veterinary care. Since March 2022, they proudly offer free preventative veterinary treatments to those who cannot afford it, ensuring that every dog and cat receives the care they deserve.
As a Vet Surgeon, you will work in their modern and well-equipped community vet clinic, conducting a variety of surgeries and treatments for the animals in their care. Their clinic operates 7 days a week, providing outpatient services to the public Monday to Saturday. You will be part of a dedicated team, including a Head of Clinic, vet surgeons, Head RVN, RVNs, and a Clinic Receptionist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent veterinary care to dogs and cats, ensuring the well-being of patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Support the effective and efficient operation of the veterinary clinic.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Qualified veterinarian with RCVS registration.
- Experience working in a small animal practice in the UK.
- Professional, friendly, calm, and caring manner.
