Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE
Hours: Full‑time (40 hours per week)
Weekends: 1 in 5 (Sat 9–4:30, Sun 10–3:30)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing, fast‑paced practice in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic role for a confident vet who enjoys a varied caseload, excellent clinical standards, and working within a supportive, team‑focused environment.
The practice has seen significant growth due to its commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client care. It is a Gold Cat Friendly Clinic and an RCVS‑accredited Training Practice, offering a high‑quality clinical environment with strong development opportunities.
About the Practice
Situated close to both the Peak District and the city centre, the practice offers bright, modern, and spacious facilities including:
- Digital X‑ray
- Dental X‑ray
- In‑house laboratory
- Separate dog, cat, and rabbit wards
- Laparoscopy equipment for regular laparoscopic spays and cystoscopy
The team consists of 5 experienced veterinary surgeons, many of whom hold or are working towards certificates in areas such as Exotics, Surgery, Imaging, and Dentistry. You’ll also be supported by a dedicated team of 5 RVNs and 7 receptionists.
This is a friendly, collaborative practice where pet welfare, client care, and teamwork are at the heart of everything they do.
