The Practice This is a well‑established team with long‑standing colleagues across veterinary, nursing and client care roles. A brand‑new, purpose‑built practice is opening this spring, offering modern facilities, excellent equipment and a fresh, well‑designed clinical environment. The location provides excellent transport links and easy access to local amenities.
The team includes experienced vets, RVNs, a student nurse, VCA and a dedicated client care team, all working together to deliver high‑quality first‑opinion care.
The Role This role is suited to an experienced GP vet who enjoys a varied caseload and values a supportive, respectful team environment. Consulting‑only applicants may also be considered.
Key details:
- Salary £45,000–£65,000 (DOE)
- 25–40 hours per week
- 1 in 3 Saturdays
- No OOH
- No call‑outs
- Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
- Bank holidays on a shorter working day, shared on a rota
- Flexible working options available
Person Specification
- RCVS‑registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine consults and surgery (consult‑only considered)
- Comfortable with sole charge
- Kind, approachable communicator
- Team‑focused, collaborative and supportive
- Passionate about patient care and client relationships
