Vacancy: Welder/Fabricator

Location: Honiton, Devon

Salary: £31,000-£33,000 per annum DOE

JHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and innovative Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing and engineering client based in Honiton, Devon on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience MIG & TIG welding/fabricating of aluminium and steel with varying thicknesses and will be able to successfully read and interpret engineer drawings.

Main Accountabilities:

• Operating all welding and fabricating equipment correctly and safely
• TIG welding of aluminium (thickness ranging from 1-3mm)
• MIG welding of steel (thickness ranging from 1-3mm)
• Cutting, drilling and sawing metal
• Accurately reading and interpreting engineer drawings

Skills/experience required:

• Minimum of 1 year experience TIG welding
• Good competency of MIG and TIG welding
• Good competency of Sheet Metal Fabrication
• Ability to accurately read machine drawings
• Experience using hand tools

Working hours:

• 07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday
• Early finishes on Fridays

Pay rates:

• £31,000-£33,000 per annum DOE
